Racine was born in Ireland in 1839; came to Racine; married in 1859; has two children living- Edward and William; lost four children -- three daughters and one son; was an employee for many years, for Slauson & Co., afterwards known as Slauson & Murray; is at present a tenant on Mr. Binkman's farm.
