Bernard DEBAUCHE, 78, Green Bay, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999 at 
his home following a long illness. He was born Jan. 26, 1921, 
in Green Bay, to the late Seraph and Clemence (Bertrand) DeBauche. 
On Dec. 28, 1943 he married Hope Saunders in Green Bay. He served 
his country in the National Guard and later served in the US Army 
32nd Division from 1939 to 1945. Mr. DeBauche worked as a truck 
driver most of his life and worked for Consolidated Freightways 
for 35 years until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the 
VFW Duck Creek Post #7584, American Legion Post #11 and also a 
past member of the 32nd Division Red Arrow Club. Bernard was an 
avid card player and enjoyed meeting with his card clubs.

Survivors include his wife, Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, 
JoAnne and Robert Ploederl, Green Bay; one son and daughter-in-law, J
ames and Shelly DeBauche, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Troy and 
Sam Ploederl, Amy Frank, Debie Ploederl and Nicole DeBauche; two 
great grandchildren, Connor Frank and Samantha Ploederl; one sister, 
Bernice Johnson, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law; Clifford 
and Jean DeBauche, Mountain; two sisters-in-law; many other relatives 
and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Mueller; a son-in-law, 
Norbert Mueller; two brothers, Richard and Leland DeBauche.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 
3 to 7 pm Sunday. A Parish Wake Service will be at 6:30pm Sunday. 
Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., 
from 10 to 11am Monday. The Mass of Christina Burial will be at 
11 am Monday at the church with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. 
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The DeBauche family would like to express their gratitude to 
Sally Ann and the entire staff of Unity Hospice for their care 
of Bernard during his illness.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.
