(1933) John Miller, 49, a brother of Mrs. C.W. Miller of Shirley, who has been farming at Suring for the past twenty years died at a Green Bay hospital Sunday monring from the effects of cancer of the chest which developed after he was kicked by a horse more than a year ago. The body was brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. C. W. Miller at Shirley and the funeral was held from there at 1:30 yesterday afternoon with interment at Cato. Rev. Chas. H. Evans, Presbyterian pastor of De Pere officiated. Mr. Miller was born at Cato Dec. 27, 1883. Twenty years ago he was married to Miss Emma Thone. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife and five children, Clarence, 17, Leonard, 14, Gordon, 8 Donald Raymond and Dorothy May, twins of six months; also two brothers, Eli, Manitowoc, William, Reedsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Erickson, Cato; Mrs. Henry Dahlquis, Greenleaf; Mrs. C. W. Miller, Shirley.
