Brown Co., Wisconsin OBIT: Merlin NOHR SUBJECT: Merlin NOHR obit SUBMITTER: Bev Nohr EMAIL: rjnohr@aol.com DATE: Apr 09, 1999 SURNAMES: NOHR, SLEN DIES IN HOSPITAL May 9, 1937 Merlin Nohr, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Nohr, De Pere, route 1 died shortly after noon yesterday in a local hospital of a skull fracture received in a head-on collision near Lark last Thursday night. Nohr was one of 13 injured in the crash, in which the car driven by his father collided with one driven by Adolph Cywinski, 20 De Pere, route 1. The child's body was taken to the Schwartz Funeral home at Morrison, from where it will be removed to the home of his parents tomorrow. Funeral arrangements had not been completed today, but services were tentatively set for Wednesday afternoon. It was announced that the casket would be open only at the home. Surviving Merlin are his parents, one sister, Mrs. Aaron Schelter, and three brothers, Wesley, Norman and Myron and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Slen.
