Obituary: Peter Radick Extracted from the Green Bay Press Gazette Tuesday eveining edition dated July 9, 1934 Peter Radick, 86, Pioneer Resident Dies Here Today Born in Denmark; came to Green Bay in 1865; Survivor of Peshtigo Fire. Peter Radick, 86, pioneer resident of Green Bay, died early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adolph Anderson, 510 12th Ave. after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Radick was born August 10, 1843 in Denmark, Europe and came to America in 1863, locating in Green Bay two years later. He was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern railroad for about 15 years as passenger train brakeman and baggageman and was a survivor of the famous Peshtigo fire. Surviving him are eight children: Mrs. Adolph Anderson, Mrs. G. M. Saunders, Sister Bay, Mrs. John Gaffney, Mrs. Stanley Ramsett, John and Eldor Radick, Green Bay, Edward and Charles, Milwaukee. He also leaves two brothers, Nels, Fulda, Minn., and Emil of Neenah and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Jones, Racine and Mrs. N. P. Hans, Neenah. There are 26 grandchildren among them "Ken" Radick, the football player and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Anderson residence and at 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Conduct Funeral of Peter Radick Monday Funeral services for Peter Radick, 86, were held Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adolph Anderson, 510 12th Ave., and later at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in Ashwaubenon cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Arnold Anderson, Merrill Saunders, Kenneth Radick, Ralph Radick, Robert Gaffney and Curtis Radick. Out of town guests were: Mrs. G. M. Saunders and family, Sister Bay; Mrs. Ellen Jones, Racine; Mrs. N. P. Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, Emil Radick, Mrs. Ed Hansen, all of Neenah; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen, Winetka; Mrs. William Hayes, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Hans Erickson, Leason, Wis; Mrs. Harold Reinke, Black Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Radick and Charles Radick, Milwaukee.
