ROUTHIEAUX, Fred Fred Routhieaux, 95, formerly of Lincoln, died Thursday evening, Aug. 6, 1998 at a Luxemburg home care center. Fred was born on Sept. 22, 1902 in the Town of Red River to the late Florian and Josephine (DeGrave) Routhieaux. In 1925 he married Jenny Finendale at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln. He and Jenny operated a farm in Kewaunee Co. Jenny preceded him in death on July 5, 1969. On Sept. 6, 1971 he married Marie Van Dreel and she preceded him in death in 1986. Fred worked for Algoma Lumber for 10 years, served on the School Board for 25 years and on Lincoln Cheese Factory Board for 28 years. Fred is survived by three daughters, Verna (Lawrence) Jadin, Luxemburg; Ethel Hermans, New Franken; Shirley (Milton) Metyler, Casco; two sons, Larry Routhieaux, Forestville; Don (Germaine) Routheiaux, Sturgeon Bay; one stepdaughter, Sister Mary Gabriel Van Dreel, Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step-great- grandchildren; one sister, Lucy Junio, Casco; one brother, Bill (Alice) Routhieaux, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Orville Hermens; two grandchildren; one great-grandaughter; and one sister, Laura LeFevre. Friends may call at McMahon Funeral Home, Luxemburg, from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and prior to funeral Monday. Prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Rev. Dennis Drury, the Unity Hospice staff and the Staff of Linzmeier Home Care Center for care and concern given to Fred and his family.
