Obituary: Extracted from the Green Bay Press Gazette Thursday edition dated February 7, 1974 Fred W. Steffen Fred W. Steffen, 84, Rt. 3, Seymour, died Wednesday at his home. He was born Dec 6, 1889 in Wisconsin to the late Henry and Mary Steffen and was a retired boilermaker helper at the Green Bay Western Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Florence (Boutwell); one son, Roy, Green Bay; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Esther) Rusch, Green Bay; Mrs. Emily Marty, Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters in Texas. Friends may call at O'Brien-Greiser and Coad Funeral Home, 509 West Walnut after 6 this evening. Funderal 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Lee officiating. Burial in Fort Howard Cemetary.
