DIED--COWEN

At her home, near Abbotsford, on Wednesday March 9th, Mary, the wife of
Frank COWEN, aged 33 years and 1 month.

Mary DOERNENBURG was born in Germany February 10th, 1865; she came to this
country with her parents, who settled in Wisconsin in 1868; living for a
time in Colby but for the past twenty years on a farm near Abbotsford; she
was united in marriage with Frank COWEN, at Abbotsford, February 17th,
1882. She was the mother of four children, 3 sons and 1 daughter, one of
the children being an infant born but a few days before the death of its
mother.

Her husband and children, her parents and brothers and sisters survive to
mourn the loss of a true wife, an affectionate mother and a kind and loving
daughter and sister.

The funeral occured at Abbotsford Friday, and was attended by a large
number of friends and acquaintances, the interment was in Colby cemetery.
