Mrs. Joseph Walport died at her home near Columbia Feb. 17, 1911, aged 58
years, the cause of her death being pneumonia. Mrs. Walport, whose maiden
name was Margaret Malter, was born in New York. In May 1871 she was married
to Joseph Walport in Iowa county, Wisconsin. After residing in various
localities a number of years, they came to Clark County about nine years
ago, settling on a farm.
