Portage Newspaper date 15 Dec 1905 
DEATHS -  Catherine B. Coapman, died at the home of her daughter, Ida M. 
Farrington of Arcadia, Trempeleau Co., Wis., Dec. 5. She was the daughter of 
Jeremiah and Christina (Van Valkenberg) Smith, and was born in 1828 at Ghent, 
Columbia County, N.Y.  She was married Norman Coapman of Hallsville, N.Y. in 
1852, he died in 1878. They came to Wyocena in 1855 and had four children,  
two daughters and two sons, all of whom survive - Mrs. Alice I. Todd of Albert 
Lea, Minn., Mrs. Ada M. Farrington of Arcadia, Wis., M.J. Coapman of 
Greensboro, N.C., and Hon. L.N. Coapman of Wyocena.

Additional Comments:
Abstract of Obituary - note the obituary had a death date of 25 Dec; newspaper 
date was 15 Dec, her death date was 5 Dec
