John Brady Dargan was born March 29, 1850 at Westchester, New York to William 
Edward Dargan (1823-1896) and Margaret O'Brien (1820-1890), the first of four 
children. His siblings were: Claire Agnes (born 1853 New York); William E 
(1856-1880) and Mary Ann (born abt 1858 NY). 

John married Christine Margaret Brossard on January 11, 1886 at Columbus, 
Columbia, Wisconsin. The couple had 5 children (all born at Fountain Prairie, 
Columbia, WI and all died at Columbus, Columbia, WI):
Margaret Adelaide (born November 7, 1886, married Melvin D Dunn 1922, died 
January 11, 1988) 
Mary Claire (born February 24, 1889, married Leo L Tobin 1917, died July 7, 
1946)
Agnes Christine (born May 20, 1891, married Robert M Jones 1938, died November 
5, 1976); 
William Venuste (born June 20, 1893, married Edna Mary Monahan 1928, died 
March 18, 1969) and 
John Edward (born May 1, 1896, died December 5, 1913). 

John Brady Dargan died August 30, 1937 at Columbus, WI and was buried at the 
St Jerome's cemetery at Columbus, Columbia, Wisconsin.
