Wyocena Advance, Wyocena, Wisconsin, May 3, 1912, page 5, column 4
Mrs. Halvor Gunderson, aged 75, died on Wednesday as the result of a stroke of 
apoplexy which she suffered on Monday.  When the stroke took her she was 
driving alone near the home of Mrs. Jennie Miles who saw her fall and secured 
assistance to take her to her home where she lingered in an unconscious state 
until Wednesday.  The deceased was among the highly respected old-time 
residents of Wyocena and leaves a husband and several children, among whom are 
Thomas Gunderson, of Wyocena and attorney H. A. Gunderson, of Portage.  The 
funeral will be held from the late home on Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock, to 
the Norwegian Lutheran church at Rio, Rev. G. A. Sundoy officiating.  
Interment will be in the Norwegian cemetery at Rio.

death of our beloved wife and mother we extend our heartfelt thanks.  We feel
