My mother Darlene Ruth Peters was the most amazing woman that I have ever met 
in my life. She grew up in Norwood Massachusetts; she was born June 30, 1970 
and died on May 9th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. she had lung cancer she was diagnosed 
with it two years ago. They had removed the tumor that they had found two years 
ago and then she went into chemo and radiation right away. She was such a 
strong woman that she never listened to the doctors when they said that she 
needed to rest, she always wanted to be out with her kids. She had four 
children Caitlin, Chris, Codie-Lee, and Dakota. All four of us looked up to her 
with all the respect in the world because she always just kept her head up high 
and kept going she never cared about what anybody thought about her, she just 
did what she wanted to do. When my mother first got admitted to the hospital I 
was in shock because I didn’t think that the cancer could come back as fast as 
it did. I watched her suffer for a month and now I’m happy that she’s not 
suffering anymore. I don’t think that I could’ve watched her go threw that any 
longer. We miss her so much but we know that she’s going to be with us everyday 
so its like she’s not even gone. We love you mom stay strong we will never 
forget you. Love Caitlin, Chris, Codie-Lee, and Dakota.
