He came to Arena in 1856 and lived on a farm until 1869. He was in Vinton, Iowa, for two years, and in 1872 married Miss Elizabeth Linley, and they lived on a farm near Vinton for the next six years. From 1878 to 1882 they were on a farm in Arena, and for the next five years lived one mile east of Mazomanie. From 1887 to 1900 they have resided in the village, and Mr. Gray has been traveling salesman for a Madison marble company. Their children are: Clellie B., now the wife of L. H.
