ALGER, Nathaniel.  The old stone is broken at the base,
there is a newer stone in front that says “WIS MILITIA WAR
OF 1812”. To Consider, the territory of Wis came about in
1836, So while he probably was in the war of 1812, It was
not in a Wi. Militia. Born abt 1782-1788 in Milton, VT. 1860
Census Pg 347 1870 Census Pg 195 1880 Census Pg 24B.
