He was married in Albion, WI in 1847, to Mary, daughter of Joseph and Ann Noble, a native of Derbyshire, England, and came to Wisconsin in 1844; they have had six children-Alice (now Mrs. David Wititt, who lives in Jefferson County) Anna Salina (now Mrs. Henry Abbott, who lives in Albion), Isaac C. (now married to Miss Sarah Brown, and lives on the farm), Sarah Ann (died in December 1879), Joseph, Elizabeth and Amos G. In 1850, Mr. Bunting moved to Janesville and followed teaming for three years, and in 1853, he settled on his present farm of 100 acres.
