The Decatur [IL] Daily Review June 9, 1887
Madison, Wis., June 9.-Robert Garnhart, step-son of Chief-Justice Orsamus 
Cole, of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, was found dead in his bed Tuesday 
evening. It was not known whether death resulted from heart-disease or was 
caused by poison self-administered.
