Wisconsin State Journal, 1 Mar 1955
Regina Bertina Thorson Brostuen died at a Madison Hospital. Member Springdale 
Lutheran Church. Had celebrated golden wedding anniversary the Wednesday before 
her death. Survived by husband, five sisters, Mrs. John Markowski, Dodgeville, 
Mrs. Name Offerdal, Middleton, Mrs. Edgar Field, Mt. Horeb, Mrs. Harvey Field, 
Rt 1, Mt Horeb, and Della Thorson, White Plains, NY. Two brothers survive, Elmer 
Thorson, Black Earth and Lewis, Tomaah. Fuernal on Sunday at 2 at Springdale 
Lutheran church.

Additional Comments:
Her husband was Sever Brostuen. They had no children. I am her great niece.
