Martin Flanagan died at his home northwest of this village Sunday morning.
About a week ago he fell and fractured his hip and shook him up so badly
that he did not rally. Deceased was over 80 years of age. Upwards of 25
years ago he moved from Stoughton, where he was section foreman for the St.
Paul R'y Co. for many years. He was an upright honest, hardworking citizen
and much esteemed by everybody. The funeral was held Tuesday from the
Catholic church.
