Mrs. Hugh Jahu died very suddenly, at her home in Rutland, Dane County, on
Thursday afternoon of last week. Her health had been quite poor for a long
time, and a journey was planned to New York where under skillful treatment
and the kind care of her friends, it was hoped that she might recover. She
was to start the present week, but death foiled all hopes and filled a
stricken family with mourning. She was a lady respected by all who knew
her.
