NORCISSA MEEKINS Mrs. Norcissa MEEKINS died Nov. 15, of old age. She was born May 16, 1815 at Clarksburg, Ohio. At the age of twenty-two she was married to Isaac MEEKINS and moved to Wabash, Ind., from which place they moved to Wisconsin in 1844. For a short time they lived in Spring Grove, Green County, later they settled on government land in Dane County, where they lived until the death of Mr. Meekins in 1875. Mrs. Meekins came to Evansville in 1893. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Margaret Warner, Colby, Elizabeth MEEKINS, Mrs. Nancy Potter and George MEEKINS, all of this city and Mrs. Louvina of South Haven, Mich. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Margaret Beam of Peoria, Ill., ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the home on Park Street, Monday forenoon. The burial was in the family lot in Storytown cemetery. Five of the grandsons acted as pallbearers. The funeral service was in charge of Rev. Mr. Roberts of the United Brethern church of Janesville. Those present from out of the city were Mrs. Fred Barnum of Rockford, Ill, Arthur Warner of Beloit, John Warner of California, Mr. and Mrs. Francis and brother of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Short, Fred Prussia and Mrs. Fletcher of Oregon, John Shutler of Stoughton, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Richardson of California and Mrs. W.
