A. Meyers, Saturday evening, after a long illness, retaining his mental faculties until the last. Funeral was held at Oregon Catholic church, Tuesday morning, burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Mr. Nangle was born on the home farm west of Oregon, May 5th, 1853. Later in life he was located in the west, most of the time in Henry, So. Dak., and it was just in recent years he returned to his Wisconsin home. For nearly two years he has been in poor health. For several weeks he was at Madison in a hospital and later went to the home of his sister, Mrs. Meyers. He was always of robust health and carried with it a very cheerful disposition, so that when he visited his old home he was imbued with the pep and vigor of the western prairies. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. B. A. Meyers, of this city; Mrs. Geo. Gates, Centralia, Was.; Mrs. W. P. Condon, Pewaukee; Mrs. James O'Neil and one brother, Joseph, Horton.
