Oregon's oldest citizen has passed on, almost 91 years of age Andrew S.
Parsons, son of Anson S. and Nancy Thompson Parsons was born at Moravia,
Cayuga County, N. Y., October 12th 1833. He came with his parents to what
is now Oregon, Wis., in 1850 and purchased land in Section 12. The father
lived to the ripe age of nearly 92, the mother passed away a month later,
March 1881.

Mr. Parsons was a brother of the late Mrs. Nelson Winston and Mrs. T. Story
of this city.
