Anna B. Guynup was born near Brooklyn, Wis., January 16, 1866. At the lage of twenty-one she was united in marriage to Fred Prucia, November 10, 1887. From this union were born two children, Alice and Wara. Practically her entire life has been spent in Dane county. After her marriage she resided with her husband near Belleville for about ten years. Since that time the family have resided continuousy in this locallity. Besides her husband and two daughters, who survive her, Mrs. Prucia leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Mrs. John Hanson, residing near Oregon, and three brothers, Richard Guynup of Idaho, Wesley Guynup residing near Oregon and T. L. Guynup who lives near Beloit, Wis. The deceased will also be greatly missed by a large circle of relatives, friends and neighbors who knew her in life as a good woman, a true friend and a kind neighbor. Mrs. Prucia was an ideal wife, an indulgent mother and one who "looked well to the ways of her household." She gained and held the respect of every one who knew her. In the formation of character she always stood for that which was right, true, honorable and honest. She will have much to credit in that great time of restitution, when all the dead shall be called forth from the tomb, and "when the earth will be filled with the knowledge of glory of God as the waters cover the sea," when all men will have an opportunity of gaining perfection and eternal life.
