Olaug Christoffersdatter Goplerud was born July 26, 1811 at Goplerud Gnr 104, 
Sor Aurdal, Valdres, Oppland, Norway to Christoffer Levorsen Goplerud and Guri 
Olsdatter Lindelien. 



She married Nuub Amundsen Rustebakke on July 5, 1838 at Rustebakke Bagn Church, 
Valdres, Oppland, Norway. 



The couple had 8 children who were all born in Norway: 

Amund Nubson (1839 - 1884) 

Christopher Nubson (1842 - 1893) 

Ole Nubson (1843 - 1922) 

Siri Nubson (1846 - 1925) 

John Nubson (1847 - 1874) 

Martin Nubson (1849 - 1849) 

Martin Nubson (1851 - 1851) 

Marie G Nubson (1852 - 1919). 



The family emigrated to Dane, Wisconsin in 1861 and settled near Mount Horeb.

Olaug's spouse, Nuub Amundsen Rustebakke was born October 23, 1807 at Oppland, 
Norway and died August 26, 1864 at Mount Horeb, Dane, Wisconsin. 



Olaug can be found in the 1870 census living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa with two 
of her children: Christopher Nanbson 21, Olong Nanbson 60, Mary Nanbson 18. 



Olaug died January 27, 1884 at probably Cedar, Mitchell County, Iowa and was 
buried at the Vermont Lutheran Cemetery, Black Earth, Dane, Wisconsin beside 
her husband Nuub Rustebakke.

Additional Comments:
Census transcribed as found without fixing spelling errors. All of Nuub and 
Olaug's children used the middle name Rustebakke and surname Nubson.
