W. H. Upton of Dunkirk, who for a number of weeks, has been a great
sufferer from cancer, died at his home at 9 o'clock Wednesday evening.

The funeral will be held at the home of the deceased at 2 p.m. today. Mr.
Upton was one of the pioneer residents of Dunkirk, and a man of spotless
character. In his death the community suffers the loss of a representative
citizen. His family have the sympathy of all in their affliction.
