Obituary: Dane County, Wisconsin: Mrs. M. A. WOODWARD ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ It becomes our duty again to make record of the sudden and rather unexpected demise of an estimable woman of our place--Mrs. M. A. Woodward, wife of Mr. A. M. Woodward, in her 37th year. She left her home to visit her parents--Mr. W. E. Lockwood, and a sister, Mrs. W. H. Parker, in Rutland, the fore part of week before last, and was taken suddenly ill and sent for Dr. Evans, who pronounced her case critical and expressed doubts of her recovery. Her husband was sent for, and in spite of all that medicine and friends could do she departed this life on Tuesday afternoon, September 15th. She was a woman highly respected in the community where she was best known. She leaves a husband and two young boys, who feel the loss of a dutiful wife and kind affectionate mother.
