Aug 07, 1958: CLARENCE BUNTING Clarence Bunting, 71, Busseyville, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, died at his home Tuesday, july 29, after a long illness. He was born Jan. 1, 1887 in Albion Prairie, the son of Isaac and Sarah Bunting. He was married to Gertrude Gumble in 1913. She died Jan. 13, 1950. He married Nora Trick in 1952. Survivors are his wife; a son, Floyd, of Imperial Beach, Calif; two brothers, George and Byron, of Edgerton, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Busseyville Community Church, the Rev. Albin Tippins officiating. Burial was in Albion Praire cemetery. Pallbearers were: Brink Ogden, Harold Walter, Albert Johnson, James Ogden, Sstanley Pierce and Rudolph Punzel. The song service was given by Mr. and Mrs. Albin Tippins accompanied by Mrs. David Spike. BUNTING, Gertrude A. 08 Feb 1887- 13 Jan 1950 Dau of Charles Conrad and Anna May (GESSNER) GUMBLE. Married Clarence Earl BUNTING on 06 Dec 1913 Obituary form the Wisconsin Tobacco Reporter, Edgerton, Rock CO., WI. Thursday January 19, 1950: MRS. CLARENCE BUNTING One by one those we love and hold so dear pass on to that "Great Beyond" to join others that have preceeded them. At 11:15 p.m., Friday, January 13, Mrs. Clarence Bunting died in the Memorial Hospital at Edgerton. A semi invalid for several years, she struggled to retain the precious sprak of life. All that doctors and medical science could devise was given her by her devoted husband and family. Mrs. Bunting was the oldest daughter of MR. and Mrs. Charles Gumble, of Paupack, Pa, where she was born Feburary 8, 1887. She was married to Clarence Bunting December 6, 1913. Surviving her are her husband; one son Floyd and three grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Gumble, Madison and five sisters, Leille, Marie, Agnes, Annie and Edith. Funeral services wee held at the Ruben Tellefson Funeral home in Edgerton at 2 p.m. on January 17. The body was intered in the Albion Prairie Cemetery. Mrs. Bunting's life was distinctly one of service in herhome, on her church, and in the community. The possessed the qualities that constitue noble and true womanhood. Time will augment the beauty and goodness of her charecter. Long after the beutiful flowers shall bloom above her sleeping dust, she will live on in memory to bless souls that may be unborn today. In her home life, and family she was lost in self forgetfulness for she wa so devoted to those she held so dear. She was a woman of Chritsian traits and charecter, a member of the Methodist church, beloved by all her friends and acquaintences. Mindful of her suffering, while we shall greatly miss her, we can not wish back for we shall go to her, so that which is a happy memory is made to five new power to a golden hope. She has been transferred from earth to heaven to becon us and to bring us more than ever under the power of the world to come. Her passing from us is the will of the one who doeth all things for the best. Into all lives some rain must fall, some days be dark and dreary. THis is the will of our Lord and Creator.
