Son of William and Elizabeth (GOLDTHORPE) DICKINSON.
Married in May 1898 to Elizabeth M. OTTO in Hebron, Wi.

GEORGE DICKINSON, PROMINENT ALBION PRAIRIE FARMER, DIES SUNDAY

George L. Dickinson, 77, a very prominent farmer on Albion
Priaire, died Sunday evening, March 8, at 10:30 o'clock in his
home after a long illness. Mr. Dickinson was born February 27,
1865, on the Dickinson homestead, where he had resided his
entire lifetime. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Otto
at Hebron, Wisconsin, in May of 1898. Mr. Dickinson was very
active in Masonic circles, having been a 32nd degree Mason. He
was a member of Fulton Lodge No. 69. The Janesville
Commandery, Madison Consistory and Zor Shrine of Madison.
Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Julius L. Holton,
this city, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services
will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home on
Albion Prairie, and will be conducted by the local Masonic
Lodge with a Cammandery escort. Interment will be made in the
Albion Prairie Primitive Methodist cemetery, with Rev. E.M.
Oliver , pastor of the local Methodist church, and Rev. H.J.
Barritt, pastor of the Albion Prairie P.M. church officiating.
