Married Nettie CRAIG on 18 Oct 1899 in Albion, Dane Co., Wi. Obit is from the Wisconsin Tobacco Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., WI.Thur 03 Dec 1942: MARTIN O. FLOM, OWNER OF STONE FARM, DIES Martin O. Flom, owner of the well known Stone farm, near Indian Ford, died Tuesday afternoon at about 3:30 o'clock in the Methodist hospital, Madison. He was a resident of Stoughton. He is survived by a son, Russell C. Flom, Menasha, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Jolseth funeral home, in Stoughton. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o;clock in the Flom home in Stoughton. Interment will be made in the Albion Prairie P.M. Cemetery. Obit is from the Wisconsin Tobacco Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., Wi. Thur 10 Dec 1942: FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MARTIN FLOM HELD IN STOUGHTON FRIDAY Martin O. Flom, 66, Stoughton, died Tuesday afternoon, December 1, in the Methodist hospital, Madison, following a short illness. Mr. Flom was born July 30, 1876, in the town of Christiana. On October 8, 1900, he was united in marriage to Miss Nettie Craig, who preceeded him in death on May 21, 1938. Mr. Flom was owner of the well known Stone farm near Indian Ford. He had been a resident of Stoughton since 1906, having moved there from Albion Prairie. He was well known as a tobacco buyer, real estate dealer and automobile dealer. For several years he had spent his winters in Florida and California. Surviving relatives are one son, Russell C. Flom, Menasha; four grandchildren, and one brother, George T. Flom, Ft. Myer, Florida. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Flom home in Stoughton. Rev. J.H. Norenberg, Eau Claire, a former pastor of the Congregational church, Stoughton, officiated, and burial was made in the Albion Prairie cemetery.
