Married William GOLDTHORPE on 25 Dec 1872 Obit is from the Janesville Gazette, Janesville, Rock CO. WI., Thur. 16 Jul 1936: MRS. GOLDTHORPE DIES IN EDGERTON Edgerton- Mrs. Jane Goldthorpe, 85, widow of William Goldthorpe, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gust. Wentler, Wednesday night. She had been ill for about five years. The former Jane Scott was born in Clinton April 24, 1851, and spent the greater part of her life in this vicinity. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E.S. Ostler, Park Ridge, Ill., and Mrs. Wentler; one son, John Goldthorpe, Whitewater; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Tellefson funeral home, the Rev. Guy Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Fassat Cemetery. The burial location in the obit is incorrect, she was buried in Albion Prairie cemetery, Albion, Dane Co., Wi.
