Green, 76, and Edgerton resident for the past two years, died Wednesday, December 3rd, at 106 Garfield street were he made his home. He had been ill for a short time. He was born in Dayton, Nov. 11, 1876, and was married to Emma Hanson, Edgerton, in 1922. She died three years ago. They lived in Beloit most of their married life. Survivors are nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Rueben Tellefson funeral home, the Rev. J.R. Hesthnes officiating. Burial was in Albion Prairie. Fri. 18 Mar 1910: MRS. CHARLES GREEN A singularly pathetic death that calls for the sympathy of the entire community is that of Mrs. Charles Green, who succumbed to a malignant type of diptheria on Tuesday morning, March 16, at the age of 29 years. Ethelyn M. Vickers, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Vickers, was born on Albion Prairie Aug. 17, 1880. She was united in marriage to Charles M. Green Feb. 22, 1900, but had always made her home in the family of her parents, removing from the prairie five years ago to this city. She was a member of the P.M. Church in Albion and since her removal to Edgerton, a member of the Eastern Star, Century Club and the W.C.T.U. and in each of these organization a popular and honored member. A woman of lovable disposition, she had gained the esteem of a large circle of friends whose sympathy will go out tothe stricken husband and parents. A private burial took place in the Albion Prairie cemetery on Wednesday last. Typo on the obit, she died on the 15th.
