DUNHAM Married in 1911 Obit is from the Wisconsin Tobacco Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., Wi. Thur 31 Aug 1944: MRS. WINNIFRED I. HIGBEE IS DEAD Mrs. Winnifred Irene Higbee, 52, Route 3, Edgerton, died Friday morning at the Community hospital, Stoughton, after a long illness. Mrs. Higbee was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dunham, and was born on August 8, 1892, in their home at Delton, Wisconsin. In 1911, she was married to Claud Higbee, the couple making their home in the vicinity of Delton for several years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2:00 0'clock at the Albion Primitive Methodist church, followed with burial in the Albion Prairie cemetery, the Rev. Theodore Gould officiating. Surviving relatives are her husband, Claud Higbee, a half brother, Thomas Dunham, seven children, Lloyd and Mrs. Lawrence Bullard Jr., Madison, Sgt. Russell Higbee, France, Mrs. Sterling Marsden, Edgerton, Pfc. Gordon Higbee, Camp Claiborne, La., Orval and Doris, at home, and four grandchildren. The pallbearers were, William Engelke, Willis Anderson, Brink Ogden, Carl Geise, George Brown and Ernest Rucks. Those in charge of the flowers were, Mrs. Isabel Geise, Mrs. Mildred Ogden and Mrs. Eileen Calder.
