McEVERS, John Holton
1927- 14 Oct 1965

Son of John H. and Ida Eliza Beatrice (HOLTON) McEVERS.
Married Corrine Gloria ROSS on 03 Jan 1953 in Paris, France.
The Engagement announcement is so close to the marriage announcement, I am 
going under the assumption that the marriage took place.
 
Engagement announcement is from the Edgerton Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., WI. 
11 Dec 1952:

ANNOUNCE ROSS AND McEVERS ENGAGEMENT
     Corrine Gloria Ross, whose engagement to John Holton McEvers Jr., son of  
Mrs. John H. McEvers is announced by her mother, Mrs. Joseph Koening Ross of 
New York City and Miami, Florida.
      An alumna of Holton-Arms, the bride-elect is also a graduate of Bennett 
Junior College and the Garland School.
     An Alumnus of Kansas University and a member of Beta Theta Pi, her fiance 
was graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and now is abroad for 
ten months on a Sheldon Traveling Fellowship. On his return in May of next 
year he will enter his father's law firm of Stenson, Mag, McEvers, and Fazelle 
in Kansas city.
     The wedding will take place January 3rd in Paris.
     The bride-elect and her mother will sail for Paris on December 26th.
