McEVERS, BEATRICE

EDGERTON-Beatrice McEvers, age 88, formerly of 104 Albion
Street, died Tues., Oct. 17, 1989, at athe Long Tem Care Unit,
Edgerton Hospital. SHe was bron in Edgerton on Sept. 28, 1901,
the daughter of Julius and Laura (Dickinson) Holton. She
married John H. McEvers on Dec. 30, 1925 in Edgerton. SHe
graduated form Edgerton High School in the Class of 1918 and
from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1923. SHe was a
member of the United Methodist Church and a fromer member of
the Methodist CHurch Wednesday Afternoon Circle. SHe was a
member of the Edgerton Chapter 63, Order of the Eastern Star,
the Culture Club of the Federated Women's Clubs, the Board of
Directors of Albion Academy, and was a former member of the
Edgerton Hospital Auxillary.

Loved survivors include 2 sons, Robert (Joan) of Kenilworth,
Il, and Richard (Judi) of Fullerton, Ca.,; a daughter, Jean
(John) Sheehan of Washington, DC; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-
granddaughters; other relatives and friends. She was preceeded
in death by her husband, John, Nov. of 1951, and by a son,
John, in 1965.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the
Untied Methodist Church, Edgerton, with Rev. John Kruse
officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Prairie Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the
church. Edgerton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
