Son of Daniel and Isabella (WHITTET) PIERCE Jr.
Married Statie Ella NOE on 28 Mar 1894 in Albion, Dane Co. WI.

P.L. PIERCE DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

Pardon L. Pierce, 77, a resident in this vicinity his entire
lifetime, died Wednesday morning, July 1, at 5:30 0'clock in
his home following a long illness. Mr. Pierce was born
November 21, 1864, in the town of Sumner, Jefferon county and
was the third son of Daniel and Isabelle Pierce. He grew to
young manhood there, and on March 28, 1894, was united in
marriage to Statie Noe. For 13 years he operated his farm in
the town of Sumner and then moved to this city, where he lived
until 18 years age when he moved to the D.C. Noe farm in the
town of Albion, which he owned until this spring. On March 6
he moved to the farm of Mrs. William Bussey in the town of
Sumner, where he resided until his death. Survivors are his
wife and one brother Clark Pierce, town of Sumner. Funeral
services were held  Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Jones
funeral home. Rev. H.J. Barrett, Albion Prairie, officiated
and burial was made in the Albion Prairie Cemetery. The pall
bearers were six nephews, they being Chester, Morton, John and
Daniel Pierce, Brink Ogden and Abel Amundson.
