Obit is from the Edgerton Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., Wi., Thur. 03 Aug 1961: MRS. MAE SLAGG SIMPSON Mrs. Mae Slagg Simpson, 74, died Wednesday night in Edgerton hospital after a brief illness. She was born January 17, 1887, in Albion Township. SHe was married to William A. Simpson July 7, 1917, They farmed at Albion Prairie until moving here in 1943. Her husband died in 1948. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Senior Citizens, Townsend Club and WSCS. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bonnibel North, Edgerton; Mrs. Ruth Hardwick, Stoughton; and Mrs. Ben Segeaman, Santa Rosa, Calif.; six grandchildren and nine greatgranchildren. A daughter preceeded her in death. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Jones Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Alban Tippans of the Albion Prairie Primitive Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Albion Prairie Cemetery. Roberts, Donald LaVerne and David Balke, and Ronald and James North served as pallbearers.
