Obit is from the Wisconsin Tobacco Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., Wi. Thur 19 Dec 1935: JOSEPH SLINN Joseph Slinn, 87, was born on January 2, 1849, in the Township of Albion, where he passed almost his entire life until 1914, when he moved to this city to make his home with his niece, Mrs, Ciebell. On Monday, Dec. 16th, Mr. Slinn was a visitor at the home of his Grandniece, Mrs. John Hamburg, where he suddely died at 4:17 p.m. While not in robust health, he was as well as usual on that day, the sighns indicated. Surviving relatives are three nieces, Mrs. Fred Ciebell, this city; Mrs. Fred Ames, Nora, and Mrs. Jens Orvald, Utica; three nephews, Arthur, Henry and Bert Orwin, Township of Cottage grove. Funeral services will be held on THursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Sharer Funeral Home, followed with burial in the Albion Prairie cemetery, Rev. T.C. Hargreaves officiating.
