Son of Samuel and Hannah (MARSDEN) VICKERS
Born in Whittington, Derbyshire, England.
Married Elizabeth A. BUNTING on 31 Oct 1889 in Dane Co., Wi.

ARTHUR VICKERS

Arthur Vickers was born August 20, 1859, in New Whittington,
Derbyshire, England, and was the son of Samuel and Hannah
Marsden Vickers.

Early in life he came to this country and on October 31, 1889,
was united in marriage to Elizabeth Bunting, who passed away
in 1931.

Mr.. Vickers was a farmer on ALbion Prairie for many years,
but retired some years ago and made his home in this city
since that time.

He died Monday morning, December 27th, at 5:30 o'clock in his
home, following a brief illness.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Clifford, Russell and
Floyd, all of this city, and Dr. Harvey Vickers, Lake Geneva;
one daughter, Rosamond, at homw; two brothers, Joseph, MT.
Vernon, S.D., and Samuel, Long Beach, Calif.; five
grandchildren. One son, George, died a number of years ao.

Funeral services were held, Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock
in the home and at two o'clock in the Albion Prairie Methodist
church. Burial was made in the Albion Prairie cemetery, with
Rev. Alban G. Tippins, officiating.
