Married Charles ZEHNER on 25 Jun 1945 Obit is from the Edgerton Reporter, Edgerton, Rock Co., Wi. Wed. 04 Feb 1987: HELLEN S. ZEHNER Hellen S. Zehner, age 81, died at the Edgerton Memorial Community hospital on Saturday, January 31, 1987. Hellen was born on May 3, 1905, in the town of Albion, the daughter of George and Cora (Russell) Silverwood. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oskosh and taught kindergarten in the Clintonville schools for 25 years. She married Charles Zehner of Eagle River but after her husbands death, Oct 31, 1973, she moved to Edgerton. Mrs. Zehner was a member of the Albion Prairie Primitive Methodist Church and was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a brother, G. Russell Silverwood of Edgerton; a step- son, Lt. Col. John Zehner of Rota, Spain; and three step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 1987 at the Albrecht Funeral Home, 1004 S. Main, Edgerton. Reverend Richard Lewis officiated. Pallbearers were Robert Lietz, Richard Bice, Robert Woerth and Frank Hinchley. Burial was in the Albion Prairie Cemetery.
