Buerkle, Helen H 
MADISON - Helen H. Buerkle (Stormer), age 89, passed away on
Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Oakwood Lutheran Home in Madison,
surrounded by her family. Helen was born June 14, 1915, in
Middleton, the daughter of Joseph and Mabel Stormer. Helen is
survived by her daughters, Helen (Ken) Tuhus and Jackie Regan;
her son, James (Liz) Currie; six grandchildren, Jennifer
(Mike) Corbeil, Stefanie (Brian) Montgomery, Chris (Mike)
Schmidt, Erik (Cherie) Tuhus, Holly (Pat) Novesky and Michelle
(Brendan) Braun; eight great-grandchildren, Erik and Anna
Badertscher, Brady Schrauth, Bolan and Tyler Montgomery,
Tucker Schmidt and Connor Braun; a sister, Dorothy Barry; a
brother, Vic (Eunice) Stormer; a sister-in-law, Millie
Stormer; and nieces, nephew, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; two brothers,
Joe and Bob Stormer; and grandson, Jack Montgomery. Helen gave
26 dedicated years of service to Oakwood, and Oakwood in turn
took loving care of her in her final years. She was a very
kind and generous person. We'll miss you mom! A memorial
service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at
OAKWOOD RESURRECTION CHAPEL, 6201 Mineral Point Road, with
Pastor Gwen Brandfass officiating. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to Oakwood Foundation and Wisconsin
