He is not listed in the online cemetery records as being
buried here, but he is on the monument for Sec 28, Lot 039,
and is most likely here....

Looking at the ancestry.com records, it looks like Joseph
might have served in Co. F, 7th Cal Regt in IA during the
civil war. Reported as a deserter on 26 Dec 1865 at Fort
Laramie, DT. But Isabella, and daughter Annie both filed
Pension requests, so I would suspect he actually died, and
did not desert, but a descendent might want to request the
files....

There is a marriage record on file at Dane County Vital
Records, in Madison, Dane Co., Wi.

She is on the Cooper marker in Sec 28, Lot 039, but not
listed in the online index
