She leaves two daughters, miss Sadie S. Browning, emploted at the Kornheiser store, and one living in Chicago. Mrs. Dais had just ledt the meat market near the corner of Evergreen avenue and was walking the the direction of her home when the train overtook her. The train was No.7 due in Madison at 4 o'clock, but was twenty minutes late. It was going at high speed. The track passes through a deep cut just before coming to the street crossing, and the approach of a train cannot always be noticed until it is close to the avenue. The train was stopped within a short distance and half the passengers alighted. A crowd gathered from the immediate neighborhood and great excitement previalied.
