Was a state of Wis. Elevator Operator Sec 34, Lot MAUS-N406-E Davis, Lillian M. MADISON - Lillian M Davis, age 89, died on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Belmont Care Center, of pneumonia. She was born on Dec. 5, 1914, in Barneveld, the daughter of David and Sarah (Moyer) Davis. She was an elevator operator for the state of Wisconsin. She loved animals and traveling. She was fond of Madison and loved living downtown on the square. She was a member of the Council of the Blind and Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Survivors include, a sister-in- law, Marva (Clement Davis) of McFarland; nieces, Beverly A. Davis of Pleasant Springs, Diana (Davis) Kruchten of McFarland, and Dorothy (Star) Crook and Velma (Star) Parsons, of Dodgeville; a nephew, Floyd Davis Jr. of Fort White, Fla.; and a special great-niece, Tina (Cooley) Rosanfelder of Madison. She was preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Bertha Davis, Ida Star and Laura Eversen; and brothers George Davis, Arthur Davis and Floyd Davis. Funeral services will be held at the JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, Madison, on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. The Rev. A. L. Braunschweig will officiate, with entombment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. A special thank you to the staff at Belmont Care Center for the wonderful care she received. Also, a special thank you to her close friend, Betty, for always being there, especially in her last days.
