Gust, Harold R. MADISON, Harold R. Gust, age 90, died on
Friday, February 7, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born in
Verona, Wisconsin on March 3, 1912, to Gustav and Dora
(Haberland) Gust. He graduated from Verona High School and
Madison Business College. He married Lucille Geiger. Harold
was employed by Gateway Transportation Company for 36 years.
He was also a member of Midvale Community Lutheran Church., He
is survived by a son Douglas Gust of Tucson, AZ; two
daughters, Patricia (Tom) Kreis of Muscoda, Wis.; LuAnn (Bob)
DeFever of Waunakee; seven grandchildren, Thomas (Karen) Kreis
II of DeForest, Wis., Cynthia (Gary) BaDour of Madison, Brad
Kreis of Naperville, IL, Darunee (Patrick) Smith of Tucson,
AZ, Andrea Gust of Atlanta, GA, Kevin DeFever, Eric DeFever,
and Ryan DeFever of Waunakee; four great-grandchildren, Katie,
Karina, Keenan, and Kyra; and nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his wife Lucille in 1982; and three
brothers, Burton, Clarence, and Hilmer. Funeral services will
be held at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road at 2:00
p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2003. The Rev. Blake Rohrer of
Midvale Community Lutheran Church will officiate., Entombment
will follow at Forest Hill Mausoleum. Family and friends may
call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral
home. The family suggests that memorials be made to Midvale
