Sec 34, Lot MAUS-S519-CC Holt, Richard MADISON - Richard Holt, age 68, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2004, unexpectedly at home. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on Oct. 28, 1935. He graduated from Drury University in Springfield, Mo. He married his bride, Marjory, on Aug. 25, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo. After graduating from college he worked for Mobil Oil Corporation until his retirement. Richard was involved in the Masonic Lodge, Zor Shrine, the Arab Patrol, Camel Patrol and the Elks Lodge No. 410. He enjoyed his family, traveling with his wife and his shrine activities. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marjory; children, Timothy (Kelly) of Monona, Michael (Dawn) of Madison, and Gregory (Holly) of Monona; grandchildren, Casey, Patrick, Lee, Alissa, Colton, Meredith and Justin; and by a brother, Barry Holt of Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aldo and Edith; and a sister-in-law, Patricia. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2004, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, in Madison. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be given to the Zor Shrine, Shriners Children Hospital, Madison 32nd Masonic Learning Center for Children Inc. He will be missed by his family and friends.
