Manzer, Patricia 
MADISON - Patricia Manzer, age 77, was taken to heaven to be with her Lord and 
Savior on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. She 
was born on Nov. 23, 1929, in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Howard and 
Mildred (Wasdahl) Pellet. She grew up in East Chicago, Indiana and went to 
Frances Shimer College in Illinois. In 1951 Patricia was united in marriage to 
O.B. Manzer. She raised her family and worked at the family business in 
Madison. She had a variety of interests including friends, sewing, cooking, 
crafts, home decorating and furniture re-upholstering. She loved doing crafts 
with her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. She was 
a loving and caring person who loved life. Patricia's love of her children, 
grandchildren and great-granddaughter were absolute. She is survived by her 
husband of 56 years, O. B. Manzer; a son, Rayce; a daughter, Marcia (Bill) 
Nebel, all of Madison; two grandchildren, Lauren Nebel and Erika Otis; a great-
granddaughter, Rayne Otis; a cousin, Rolf (Freid) Johansen of Norway; her 
dearest friend, Jane Anderson of Madison; and Ernie Walder of Naples, Florida. 
Patricia's family would like to thank the Ingelside Nursing Home in Mount 
Horeb and the UW Hospital of Madison for their caring staffs. We would like to 
give special thanks to the loving and caring staff of the Don and Marilyn 
Anderson HospiceCare Center. They were a blessing for Patricia in her last few 
months. She will be greatly missed by the lives she touched. Burial services 
will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Road, Madison at 11 a.m. on 
Saturday, March 17, 2007. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 
HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711. Gunderson West Funeral 
and Cremation Center 7435 University Ave (608) 831-6761
