Died 14 May 1963 at the Veterans hospital in Madison, Dane Co., WI. He was the son of Owen Thomas and Catherine (Nee FINNEGAN) McMAHAN He married Amy Viola PERKINS on 23 Dec 1922 in Burlington, Kit Carson Co., CO. He married Edna Emma Mary MIELKE in 1960 in Leeds, Columbia Co., WI. Obituary, The Capital Times, Madison, Dane Co., WI. May 15, 1963: De Forest- Albert "Pat" McMahan, 69, DeForest, died tuesday in a Madison hospital. He was a native of Clyde. Mr. McMahan was a Navy Veteran of World War I and a member of the church and of Madison Barracks, Veterans of World War I. Surviving in Madison is a step-daughter , Mrs. Robert Martell, 1005 Sioux Tr. Survivors also include his wife, the former Edna Boehm, to whom he was married in 1960; two brothers, John, Dodgeville' and William, Baraboo; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Gorst, Mazomanie; and Mrs. Tillie Stevens, Long Beach, Calif. Funeral rites will be held in the new St. Olaf's Catholic Church here. The rosary will be recited at 8 tommorow at the Edwardson funeral home here, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Military graveside rites will be conducted in Soldiers rest, Forest Hill cemetery, Madison.
