He was disabled, and never worked.
Murkve, Michael H. 
MADISON/ MORRISONVILLE - Michael H. Murkve, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, 
May 30, 2006, due to diabetes related health problems. He was born with 
cerebral palsy on March 6, 1966, in Madison, the son of Robert and Ernestine 
(Decorah) Murkve, and foster son of Glenda Schlueter-Fillo. Michael was 
confirmed at the Spring Prairie Church in Keyser, Wis. He graduated from East 
High School in 1987. He is survived by his father, Robert (Joyce) Murkve; 
foster mother, Glenda; brother, Scott (Kim) Murkve of Tomah; three nieces, 
Cassie, Allie and Stephanie Murkve; two step-nephews; grandmother, Ethel 
Nelson of Morrisonville; uncle, Douglas Nelson of Morrisonville; and many 
other special relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, 
Ernestine, in 1977. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006, at 
RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Rolf 
Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. A visitation 
will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 4, 2006, from 4 p.m. until 6 
p.m. and again at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of
