Sigrist, Robert C. MADISON - Robert C. Sigrist, age 72, passed
away on Sunday, July 24, 2005, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson
HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. He will be dearly missed.
Robert, born on April 21, 1933, was a resident of Madison. He
graduated from Akron University with a business degree. After
35 years of employment with Brunswick Corporation, Robert
retired in 1995 as president of the defense division. He was
an avid bridge player and enjoyed travel, having visited all
50 states and numerous international destinations. He is
survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Phyllis; his four
children, Bruce Sigrist, Kathleen Levenick, Bryan Sigrist and
Sandra Sigrist; his niece, Christina Sogar; and their
families, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He
is also survived by his brothers, John and wife, Della; Bruce
and wife, Nan; and sister-in-law, Cherry. Robert was preceded
in death by his parents, Grover and Zola Sigrist; his sister,
Margaret; and his brothers, Edward and Richard. On Thursday,
July 28, 2005, there will be a memorial service at DIVINE
SAVIOR UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5702 S. Hill Drive, Madison,
at 11 a.m. The service will be preceded by a visitation at the
church for friends and family from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Don and Marilyn
Anderson HospiceCare Center, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison,
WI, 53711 or to Divine Savior United Methodist Church, 5702 S.
Hill Drive, Madison, WI, 53705. May God hold you in his hand.
